WRAP & PACK

Load Stability Process

Load Stability is KEY for successful goods shipping. Studies show that at least 4% of all transported goods are damaged in transit.

Are you ready to solve the problem?

Wrap and Pack Load Stability Process

Step 1. It starts with a Load Stability Audit

Our process begins with a full assessment of your current pallet wrapping operation. This includes measuring the load stability being achieved, your true cost per pallet wrapped, film consumption, plastic usage, CO₂ impact and the performance of your existing machinery.

We then trial our advanced stretch films against your current solution using high-end testing equipment and a structured, data-led approach. This allows us to accurately compare film weight, containment force, pallet stability and overall wrapping performance across the full pallet.

By using scientific testing methods and measurable performance data, we can clearly demonstrate where improvements can be made and how those improvements can be repeated consistently in day-to-day operation.

Our technical team will then make the necessary adjustments to your existing equipment to maximise film performance, reduce waste and improve load stability. Where machinery limitations are restricting results, we can recommend replacement or alternative equipment capable of delivering a stronger, more efficient and more reliable wrapping process.

The result is a fully optimised pallet wrapping solution built around evidence, repeatability and measurable improvement.

At Wrap & Pack, we do not guess. We test, measure and optimise.

Step 2. The Load Stability Report

Following the assessment and testing process, our stretch film specialists will produce a detailed performance report outlining the results, findings and recommended next steps.

This report will be reviewed with you in full, giving you a clear understanding of your current wrapping performance, the improvements achieved during testing and the opportunities available to reduce cost, plastic consumption and improve load stability.

The next stage will typically include a controlled film trial and, where required, recommendations for machinery upgrades or replacement equipment to unlock further performance gains.

Our technical team will then attend site to support the installation, setup and optimisation of new or existing machinery. This ensures the film and equipment are working together correctly, delivering maximum performance, consistent wrapping results and the lowest achievable cost per pallet.

From report to implementation, our approach is built around clear data, expert support and measurable results.

Step 3. Management and Maintenance

Every Wrap & Pack load stability solution is supported by a dedicated account manager, giving you a direct point of contact for orders, product support and ongoing account management.

Our support does not stop once the film or machinery has been supplied. As part of our load stability package, our technical team can carry out regular performance checks to ensure your stretch film, wrapping process and machinery continue to operate at the correct standard.

This ongoing testing helps maintain consistent load stability, control film usage, reduce unnecessary waste and ensure your cost per pallet remains fully optimised.

We will also keep you informed of new product developments, machinery improvements and film innovations as they become available, ensuring your business continues to benefit from the best-performing solutions Wrap & Pack can offer.

With Wrap & Pack, you receive more than supply. You receive long-term technical support, proactive account management and a partnership focused on continuous improvement.
